Bookings & payments

You pay a R99 booking fee online to secure your slot and the remaining balance at the service centre.

  1. Choose a service or assessment and a vetted workshop.
  2. Book your date (Mon–Fri) and confirm your details.
  3. Pay the booking or assessment fee on MainBay to secure your slot.
  4. Attend the appointment. Any extras are quoted for your approval first.
  5. Settle the balance at the service centre (for service packages).

Assessments explained

Diagnostics assessment

  • Full fault-code scan & report.
  • Targeted tests to confirm root cause.
  • Clear next-steps quotation if repairs are needed.

Brake check

  • Pads, discs, fluid and hoses inspected.
  • Measure wear and surface condition.
  • Safety report + quote if replacement is required.

Suspension check

  • Shocks/struts, control arms, bushes and links checked.
  • Road-test for noises and handling issues.
  • Report + quote for any parts that need attention.

Assessment fees are for inspection/testing time and are non-refundable. Any repair work is quoted separately and only done with your approval.

What is the booking fee?

The Booking fee secures your service centre slot. It is deducted from your final bill at the service centre. You pay only the balance at the service centre after the work is completed.

What's included in the price?

Each service page lists the parts and labour included. For assessments (Diagnostics, Brakes, Suspension), the fee covers checks and reporting only. Any required repairs will be quoted separately before work proceeds.

How does a Diagnostic Assessment work?

A diagnostic assessment includes a computerized fault scan and a . You’ll receive a clear report of any detected issues. Repairs are not included and will be quoted separately.

What happens during a Brake Check?

A brake check includes pad, disc and fluid inspection as well as a test of braking performance. You’ll receive a report. Replacement of brake parts is quoted separately if needed.

What happens during a Suspension Check?

A suspension check covers shocks, springs, bushes and linkages. Any wear or damage is documented and shared with you. Repairs or replacements are quoted separately.

Can I change or cancel my booking?

Yes. Use the “Change / Cancel booking” link in your confirmation email or WhatsApp us. If you cancel, fees are handled according to our cancellation policy.

When and where do I pay?

You pay a booking fee online to secure your service or assessment booking, and the balance is payable at the service centre once the work is completed.

Parts & warranty

Our partner service centres are vetted and use quality parts that meet manufacturer specifications. All workmanship is guaranteed by the service centre and carries a 6-month or 20 000 km warranty (whichever comes first).

What should I bring on the day?
  • Vehicle & keys (plus wheel lock key if fitted)
