Request account or personal data deletion
MainBay respects your privacy and your rights under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
If you would like to request deletion of your MainBay account and/or personal data, please follow the steps below.
What data can be deleted
You may request deletion of:
Your MainBay user account
Personal information linked to your account (name, email, phone number)
Booking history associated with your account
Note: Some information may be retained where legally required (for example, tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention records).
How to request deletion
To request account or data deletion, please email us using the subject line:
“Account & Data Deletion Request”

Please include the following information in your email:
Full name
Email address used on MainBay
Phone number (if applicable)
A brief confirmation that you want your account and/or data deleted
What happens next
We will verify your identity
Your request will be processed within 14 business days
You will receive confirmation once deletion is complete
Important information
Deleting your account will permanently remove access to your booking history
This action cannot be undone
Any active bookings must be completed or cancelled before deletion
